What a complete nuisance! They've bombarded me with calls, yet as soon as I picked up, they hung up. It seems they were just fishing for active numbers. I’ve had my fair share of these dodgy calls before, so I can’t be too surprised I fell for it this time. Just goes to show, answering dodgy numbers is a gamble!

I got a call from a nicely spoken lady who kept mumbling the company’s name. She told me I could get a grant to install warm air heating at my place. When I mentioned I was renting and didn’t own the flat, she just brushed it off and told me to say I had permission. I ended the call straight away.

Got a call this morning around 10:35 from a number starting 05.70.0.7C, some bloke trying to push heat pumps and solar panels. He was banging on about a government grant worth £12,500. Seemed dodgy, sounded like a scam, had a weird foreign accent, so I blocked the number straight away.

I had a call from someone saying they were with a daylight saving company or something, offering to help me save on gas bills. I kindly said I don’t even have gas, just electric. She pushed on, asking loads of questions before finally suggesting solar panels. I reckon she wasn’t too chuffed that I kept dodging her sales pitch so nicely. Honestly, they’d save everyone’s time by just not cold calling!

Seen this number pop up from Bournemouth but since I didn't know who it was I just let it ring out. No voicemail or anything left behind either. I don't know anyone around that way, so I’m guessing it's a wrong number.
