So this number 01202675241 rang me on the 9th of October 2019 around 10:30 in the morning. When I answered, the line just went silent straight away. Since it's a local Bournemouth number and I know folks around there, I tried calling it back. But when I did, an automated message came on saying "this number does not accept incoming calls". Pretty weird!

called me up, just wanted my name and then cut the call. defo a scam, 'cos if you try calling back, they put you on hold and say an agent will be with you soon. watch out for this number!

Phone rang around 6 in the evening on a Friday, no message left on voicemail. And for the person who mentioned GDPR, this really isn’t about that.

Got a call from some cold caller claiming to be with Green Alliance, saying there’s cash available for homeowners nearby. They somehow already had my name and address! Isn’t there new GDPR legislation meant to stop this? Who’s handing out our details like this? Thought GDPR was supposed to protect us from this kind of nonsense.
