Just before eleven, I got a call from 01202 670746. It was a recorded message claiming to be from the "BANK SECURITY DEPARTMENT." They said there were two payments on my account that I supposedly didn’t authorise - one for £300 linked to Amazon and another £1100 for an international money transfer. They asked me to press 1 or 2 for options, but I hung up right away. When I tried calling the number back, it just went beep beep beep, saying the number wasn’t recognised. This is actually the second time in about 30 minutes that I’ve had this kind of scam call.
