Got a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying they'd take £69 from my bank if I didn’t stop it. I told them I’m not even a Prime member and ended the call. They rang me again two times right after, but I didn’t pick up, just let it go to voicemail. They were really pushy and argumentative.

I answered expecting one of those annoying scam calls, but no one spoke or even left a message. So, I ended up humming some tunes for about five minutes - bits of Queen, Disney songs and some Ram Jam thrown in. Hopefully it wasted their time instead! This call was a total scam, with someone pretending to be from BT Openreach. I cut the call short straight away. Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming my appliance warranty was about to expire. Sounded dodgy, so I just cut the call and ended up blocking the number straight away.

I got a call from 01202618722 claiming they were with Microsoft and that my computer was at risk. They wanted me to get on my computer right away. I told them I was sat at it, but being a pensioner, I asked how much this would set me back. Truth be told, I wasn’t really at my computer, just trying to see what their game was. Not surprised when they hung up on me. What a load of rubbish.

I saved this number from Bournemouth just in case, coz they called me about renewing some Amazon Prime membership I've never signed up for. Then today, a bloke named Jason, who sounded Indian or Pakistani, rang me up pushing some washing machine insurance deal for £99. Before I knew it, he put me through to some higher-up called Caroline to sort out the payment. What a joke!
