Had an absolute laugh chatting with these muppets! I asked what nationality he was 'cause honestly, he sounded like some sort of alien to me, and he actually said yes! Then I told him he reminded me of Jasper Carrott, and he went along with that too. He wanted to know which internet provider I used, so I told him “CBeebies” just to mess about. Spent about twenty minutes messing around with him before I got a bit nasty - can’t really repeat what I said but it was well worth it. Dragging it out probably saved a few others from getting caught in their scam.

I picked up and the idiot just hung up on me. Honestly, when will these jerks finally get stopped!!!

Had another dodgy call claiming to be from BT. This time I was expecting a warning about my internet cutting out within a day and being asked to press one to fix it. I was well aware of what they were after - getting me to download some malware to get into my computer. I ended up messing around with them for about half an hour. Definitely block these muppets unless you feel like wasting your time on scammers.

Had a call from someone saying they worked for a phone or tech company, told me there was some issue with my internet or that my computer had a virus causing errors. They said they could sort it out but wanted me to pay using a gift card. I wouldn’t suggest handing over any money - there’s no telling if they’ll actually help get your stuff back. Best to keep it straightforward and don’t let anyone have control over your computer.

I got a voicemail supposedly from BT claiming my router had been used unlawfully and that my internet would get cut off within 24 hours. They said I had to press 1 to speak with a tech support person. Total scam!

I had a run-in with some scammers and decided to keep the call going for about 18 minutes. Eventually, I told them exactly what I thought. Honestly, the way this lady with an Indian accent was swearing was something else - never heard anything like it! Honestly felt like dealing with a bunch of rude street troublemakers.

Received a call about some supposed problem with my router. I told them everything was working alright and then she just ended the call.

I got calls a few times from someone claiming to be with Ofcom, asking questions about my WiFi. There was something off though, like they hesitated weirdly before saying 'Ofcom' and 'WiFi' which just made me suspicious it might be a scam.
