This bloke said he was from the TPS but when I started asking questions, he passed me onto a “supervisor.” I ended up hanging up on them. They called back, and the guy said his name was James Hall, gave me an address at 70 Margaret St, W1W 8SS, and a number 0203 6305 457. I checked the details but then he asked for the 8-digit number on the bottom of my card, so I hung up again. He rang me back, but I told him he was just a telemarketer and that the police have warned us about calls like this, then hung up once more. Later, I did a 1471 and the number showed as 01202 535577. Honestly, not sure what to do next.

They keep saying they're with the TPS, but it's all fake. Definitely some sort of scam going on. Watch out for them!
