someone called me saying they had issues with talktalk internet and told me to ring a particular number. felt really dodgy, clearly a scam and quite risky!

It showed up as an international number when I checked who was calling.

I’ve seen loads of folks getting calls saying their broadband is going to be cut off because their ISP’s been hacked. Don’t fall for it! These people just want your info to scam you, so best thing is to just hang up and ignore them.
