Whenever I pick up, they just end the call straight away. There's no talking at all. If I knew who was calling, I’d definitely report it to the cops.

Some bloke calling himself Walter, speakin' with a thick Indian accent (who even names theirself Walter these days? Bit dodgy if you ask me), rang me up claiming there was some problem with my BT broadband. I wasn’t exactly polite to him, told him where to go pretty quick. This is the third time this rubbish call's come through - I reckon these scammers must be getting my info off someone working at BT or sumthin'.

I picked up and immediately got cut off, I could just barely make out a woman’s voice in the back, sounded like she was saying no or something like that.

So, I got a call around 11:45 this morning from some guy with a foreign accent pretending to be from BT, saying he needed to check my laptop connection or something. Thing is, I’m actually part of the Fraud Squad, so I played along for a bit, asking loads of tricky questions before he could hang up. Then, with my best British accent, I gave him a proper telling off! Honestly, I found it pretty fun.

Some bloke called Walter Grant said he was from BT and claimed he could get rid of viruses on my pc. I said I'd call BT first before doing anything, then ended the call. Then, I got called again, but the number showing up was 01202427926.

Got a missed call around lunchtime from this number, then a follow-up call came through showing 01202 427926. It was the standard "there’s an issue with your BT internet" spiel, but the bloke with an Indian accent ended the call before I could mess about with him for long. I think I had a similar call earlier this week, maybe Monday, but that time the caller ID showed a Bewdley number. It’s just annoying, but I’d say try to eat up their time by keeping them on the line. Just be ready though, because they can get pretty rude once they catch on.

The guy on the phone said his name was William Grant and claimed he was calling from BT, saying he could fix my computer’s virus problem. I told him I’d double check with BT first and then ended the call. Later, I got a second call, but this time the number showing up was 01202427926.

Some bloke with a strange accent claimed he was from BT, saying there was something wrong with my internet - which is true. When I mentioned I'd already had calls about this from scammers and asked if he was one too, he just ended the call.
