When they asked if I was aware of this, I said how could I possibly know if it was happening behind my back? Then they just ended the call! I can see how this would really scare someone not so clued up.BT2 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t recognise, claiming it was a security check about two payments - one of them supposedly from Western Union, which I’ve never used. The bloke on the line, who spoke perfect English, told me to press 1 if it was legit or 2 if I wanted to dispute it. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. Felt fishy, probably a con.
