Got a recorded call claiming i had to verify a £600 payment from my bank card and told to press 1 if it was ok or 2 to dispute. Don’t engage, just hang up and dont press any buttons.

I didn't pick up since I didn’t recognise the number, and they didn’t leave any voicemail either. Then, right after, I got another call from a different number, and same thing happened - no answer from me and no message left.

Had two calls today about fraud on my debit card, saying £600 was taken and sent overseas. Both times it was a recorded message but from different numbers. Rang my bank after the second call and they confirmed it’s a common scam. Never gave out any info or account details. Really annoying how these scumbags keep trying!
