I received a call informing me that I’d just bought an iPhone costing over £300 on my Amazon account. They then suggested pressing 1 if I hadn’t made this purchase. I ended the call immediately. It’s painfully clear this is a con. Amazon doesn’t reach out by phone regarding transactions, and they most certainly wouldn’t be calling from a number based in Bournemouth!
