I received a call from an outfit claiming to be affiliated with Sky TV, peddling insurance policies. We clearly stated our lack of interest, to which they pressed for an explanation. We simply reiterated that we were not keen on their offer. They then had the audacity to suggest our reason was insufficient. We promptly hung up. Unfortunately, they rang again with the same scripted pitch, and we hung up once more. On their third attempt, we were quite exasperated and ended the call again. They persisted one last time, so I told them to shove off and cut the line. An hour later, they had the nerve to call back again, but we chose to ignore their call this time.
