I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach, stating they needed to ascertain the speed of my internet, which apparently has been a bit patchy recently. I complied and ran the speed test online as he suggested. Shortly thereafter, I was transferred to his supervisor, but they ended up disconnecting the call. Then, to top it all off, I got a return call from a foreign number, berating me for hanging up! This whole situation feels rather suspicious, wouldn’t you agree?
