01202281238 called me up and when I said I wasn’t interested in changing my energy supplier, the person said they just wanted to help me save money. The caller only gave his name as Tim but never said what company he was from. They asked me to confirm my provider, which made me think it might be dodgy data gathering rather than a proper business. To be on the safe side, I just blocked the number. When I dialled it back, I got straight to Tim, so maybe it’s just one guy running the whole thing or I was lucky enough to get through.

I got a call from 01202281238 earlier claiming to be Scottish Power. When I told them I already use Scottish Power, they said they wanted to help me save money. Then they mentioned I had both gas and electric with them, which isn't true as I only have electric. I told them I pay using a key, then they just said bye and ended the call. Bit strange if you ask me.
