Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin, but it was definitely a scam. Watch out, it’s not legit!

I recently got a rather dubious voicemail from the number +441202247466, regarding two transactions - one for £300 from Amazon and another for an eye-watering £1100 from some international money transfer service. It struck me as seriously off, especially since I’ve never used my card for anything like that before. The message prompted me to press 1 to allow these charges, or press 2 if I wanted to cancel or chat with customer support. A bit concerning, really! What’s more, I’ve had the exact same sort of message from +44 1225 350372. Seems like someone’s trying to pull a fast one!
