I keep receiving loads of calls from different numbers but all with the same area code, usually about 5 times daily. It's always some bloke called Chris claiming to be an energy consultant asking about my loft insulation. I hung up on him the first time, but he just keeps ringing back. This has been happening for more than a week now. If you get calls like this, make sure you report them to ico.org.uk - the more complaints they get, the likelier they are to shut them down. Being on the TPS list hasn’t made any difference for me.

Since Thursday, I've been getting calls 18 times already. They never say who they are, so my call blocker kicks in and stops me from having to talk to them. I'm listed as ex-directory, so it's obvious that someone must have passed on my info. They start ringing before 9 in the morning and the latest one was at 9:23 pm. Properly persistent bunch!

Loads of folks have mentioned this already but the bloke running this dodgy energy scam, using numbers like these, is a conman named Stuart Wright. He lives at 21A Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. His birthday’s 19/01/1965. Not surprising he’s got a fancy house and a posh car, seeing as he’s constantly ripping people off!!

Got a call from some dodgy spray foam insulation lot, telling me my loft's got mould and it’s making my kids ill, and that I need an engineer right away. What a load of rubbish! I just hung up on those muppets.

Got a call today from a bloke who said his name was Chris, second time in less than a week. Told him straight away I’m terminally ill and wasn’t interested in loft inspections or grants, seeing as I’ve only got a few months left. The number he rang from was 01202-159538. When he called again, I recognised his voice right away. Told him I’d already spoken to him four days ago and asked him not to call ex-directory numbers or those on the TPS list. He just hung up on me. I rang back and pressed button 1 to opt out of future calls. Do they care? Nah. I’m definitely reporting them to the TPS. This was on Friday 01/10/21.
