However, as soon as I mentioned my age group, he abruptly cut the line! (He seemed intent on confirming I was over 50). 1) It wouldn’t have been too tricky for him to just say, “Sorry, you’re not in the demographic we’re looking for”. 2) I’m convinced he hung up because he was just randomly dialling, hoping to ensnare someone unsuspecting. So, he’s either incredibly rude (what a waste of my time chatting with him) or just another scammer on the hunt.
