It’s quite common for unwanted callers to skip introducing themselves, leading to them simply disconnecting. There’s a missed call logged on the device with the number displayed.

He kept dodging questions about which company he’s actually from, using these fake numbers to hide where he’s really calling from. Seriously dodgy.
