I got a call from 01202152188 and it sounded dodgy; they told me I’d now get a 3% discount on my 02 bill every month. When I questioned them about it, the call just got cut off. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I didn’t pick up, these numbers just keep ringing nonstop with this weather. Proper fed up with it.

I picked up the phone and a lady claimed she was from O2, offering a rather enticing 40% off. She mentioned that my colleague was present to handle the contract, which felt a bit dodgy, if I'm honest. Sensing something was amiss, I pretended to be tied up and hung up. Did a quick search on the number and, lo and behold, it turns out to be a scam! Just a heads-up for everyone-stay vigilant!

They ended up putting me through to some supervisor who asked for my security info and then tried pushing me to buy a new phone and contract with an upfront fee. Pretty clear scam if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Virgin Media, but it sounded dodgy - loads of chatter in the background. They wanted me to sort out a problem with an account that’s definitely not mine. When I told them I knew it was a scam, they started swearing at me. Proper scam attempt!
