Somebody phoned up pretending to be an energy advisor from around here. We're on the Telephone Preference Service, so my hubby told them off saying they shouldn't be ringing us, and then they just cut off straight away. Loads of people in our village got the exact same call. Seems like they were just hoping to get through to someone on the local phone list. Luckily, our village WhatsApp group warned everyone quickly. I’d suggest just ignoring calls from this number altogether.

Someone pretending to be an energy consultant called us. Since we're registered with the TPS, my husband immediately told them not to call us, and they just ended the call. Loads of neighbours have got the same call. Seems like they’re just guessing numbers around here. Luckily, our local WhatsApp group keeps everyone warned. I got a call where it sounded like some sort of message about loft insulation. When I tried to ask something, they just didn’t respond at all. But if I didn’t say anything, a really snappy ‘hellooo’ would come through, then it’d go quiet again for ages. In the end, I just hung up.

Over the past few days, I've been getting calls from 01202 137292, 01202 137387, 01202 137383, 01202 137382, 01202 137377, 01202 137379, and 01202 137369. Funny enough, I didn’t know I had so many mates around Bournemouth! I’ve never answered any of them, and none of the callers have left voicemails. I checked these numbers on 'who calls me' and they all have similar comments saying the same sort of thing. I could block each one individually with BT Call Protect but I’m pretty sure they’ll just ring from a different number next time. Is there a way to block all calls starting with 01202 137...?
