The digits look quite similar to a loft insulation con artist that rang me a while back. Bit of a nuisance, if you ask me!

I've also had calls from 01202137336, 01202137338, 01202137341. They claim to be some sort of loft installer or energy assessment firm, but honestly, it feels more like a bunch of scammers trying to fish for my personal info-name, address, bank info, the lot! What a bore! Can’t wait for Monday to arrive and hopefully put an end to this nonsense.

I got a call from a quite polite guy who claimed I was registered for outdated loft insulation. Pretty sure no official body has any record like that!

So, I got a call from some bloke at the "green energy centre" saying my house popped up on a government list for outdated loft insulation. I told him he was breaking the law since my number is on the TPS, but he reckoned it wasn’t a sales or marketing call, so the rules didn’t matter. I just told him I wouldn’t trust advice from someone so clueless about the law and promptly ended the call!

Just had a rather posh chap on the line claiming he was ringing from the energy supplier for my postcode. He went on to ask if I was the homeowner, but as soon as I probed with a simple “Which energy company and what postcode are you referring to?”, he promptly cut off the call. Definitely a dodgy number with a phoney Caller ID, if you ask me!

It’s quite amusing, really, how the chap on the other end of the line claimed my loft insulation was dated because he checked some energy register! What a curious notion! As someone who values their privacy, being ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, this is clearly just another cold call.

I found his approach rather dubious, especially when he abruptly ended the conversation after I inquired whether he was affiliated with a government agency or an installation firm. He introduced himself as Matthew from Oxford. Quite concerning, if you ask me!
