Received a call about loft insulation and they actually knew my name. Definitely felt off, like a scam.

So this bloke rings up and asks for me by name, then goes on about whether I still own my house (obviously I do!). When I asked why he needed to know, he just said 'just curious!' Then he started asking about the insulation in my place. I said I had no idea and wasn’t up for any of his sales pitches. Blocked his number straight away.

I picked up a call from this number and could hear what sounded like an office buzzing in the background. But as soon as I said hi, the person on the other end just disconnected. Strange!
