A bloke rang me up saying he was an 'energy advisor for the local area'. He eerily seemed to know my phone number and even where I lived. When he wanted me to confirm if I actually owned the number, I didn’t agree. Asked him why I’d bother chatting with him and then, out of nowhere, he just ended the call. Strange behaviour, that.

A man called himself the "Energy Consultant for my region." He seemed to have my name and address already. He wanted me to verify if I was the owner of the property. I declined and asked him what reason I had to engage with him. He swiftly ended the call.

I received a rather dodgy phone call regarding loft insulation earlier. It raised quite a few eyebrows, to say the least.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the conservation officer for my area, just like others mentioned. When I asked why they were calling, they quickly hung up on me.

When I asked him what on earth conservation had to do with my place, he quickly shut up and mumbled something. Sounds like the usual rubbish, but I reckon it could catch someone out if they’re not careful.

Had a bloke ringing me about my loft and cavity wall insulation, proper hard sell. He went on about how everything in my place was poorly done, dodgy, and making me waste energy. I told him I’d only had it done a few months ago but he kept insisting it was all out of date, laws had changed, and I’d have to have it all done again. I just said cheers for the advice, I'll contact my installers and then hung up. Yeah, right.

Got a cold call from someone claiming to be with ‘Energy Grading Installation UK’. They want to ring me at 10am on Monday the 7th of September to review my loft setup and ask about a code - something like LAP70. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
