I got a letter from this appliance company about insurance for stuff at home, but it was for my dad who died a couple years back. They acted like I still owned the appliances and were asking me for money. The people were really disrespectful and pushy. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend getting insurance through them at all.

I got a 5-year extended warranty for my washing machine from this firm, they charged me £350 for it. Turns out it’s a bit dodgy because they never mentioned the insurance only sorts out parts, but you’re left paying for labour and call-out fees yourself. Seems like a bit of a con to me. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of getting cover for their white goods or electrical stuff like TVs. Happy Christmas everyone, stay safe out there x

I got a 5-year warranty for my white goods and electrical stuff like the TV. Thought it was a good deal, but turns out the insurance only covers parts, not the labour or any call-out fees. They never mentioned that bit anywhere. For my washing machine, the 5-year cover was about £350. Bit sneaky really, definitely feels like a scam. I've tried to get this number to quit calling me by telling them several times, but they just don’t listen. I’m sure my number is ex-directory, so I’m clueless how they found it. Even after blocking the number through BT call protect, they keep ringing, according to my BT account, even if they can't actually connect. Proper irritating and a total nuisance. PURE ANNOYANCE AND TOTAL RUBBISH. Contrary to what another reviewer said, these folks aren’t FCA authorised. If they were, they definitely wouldn’t be cold calling me about insurance for stuff like washing machines, fridges, tumble dryers or cookers. That’s actually illegal and I’ve reported them to the FCA for it. Best thing to do is just block them straight away.
