So it turns out this number is linked to Magrathea Telecommunications - sounds like something straight out of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which is a pretty funny coincidence. But don’t be fooled, they’re definitely just another scam outfit.

Got a call today, 20/4/2023, from a woman with a heavy foreign accent who spoke really poorly. She refused to tell me her identity. Pretty sure it was some sort of dodgy scam, so I blocked the number immediately.

Got a call from this number earlier today but there was no one there when I picked up. Decided to block it straight away.

Got a call on 20/4/23 from a woman who spoke poorly, maybe not native. She wouldn’t tell me her name or where she was from. Felt like a sketchy scam to me, definitely not someone trustworthy.
