If you're with TalkTalk and this number keeps ringing you (like it has done to me loads of times!), right after they call, try dialling 14258, then when you hear them call again from the 01202 number or whatever, hit ##. It blocks the number pretty simply. Just had a look at some of the comments below - really awful. They never even spoke, just cut off. Proper idiots, if you ask me.

Got a call from a really snobby woman, as soon as i didnt answer quick she just hung up. I figured it had to be a spam call so didn’t bother picking up properly. rang pretty early too, like 9:10 in the morning.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was with Corrective Carpet Clean, a small family-run business round here. She offered a deal to clean two carpets and the hall for £39. A lady rang me on 30/06/17 at about 9.30am. Claimed to be calling from a cleaning firm supposedly in Salisbury but the number showed as Bournemouth. She said they had a deal on cleaning two carpets. When I asked where she got my number, she said it was from some 3rd party database. I told her I’m on the TPS list and she didn’t say sorry, just that she wasn’t sure how that happened. I then asked for her details and she just ended the call.

Got a call but they hung up after a few rings. Seems to be a "cleaning company" who apparently can get quite rude if you mention the TPS on some other site. Could be legit, but mostly sounds like sales. Bit odd a Bournemouth number is asking about carpet cleaning 155 miles away, unless it’s just a call centre doing the selling, really.

Got two calls on 7th May evening and 8th May morning. The first one was silent, the second call asked for my missus. I told the bloke she passed away last year. No sorry from him or anything. Got a call today from a bloke named Mark, said he’d spoken to my dad last year. I told him my dad passed away last year, and he said sorry and asked if I owned the house. I told him I was only part owner, then he offered some carpet cleaning deal. I said no thanks and hung up. He called straight back but I ignored it, then left this rude message on my mum’s answerphone. Honestly, losing my dad was tough enough without getting called a f¥#king c### by some random caller. Proper disrespectful and awful.

Some woman rang me today, and when I told her I’m on the TPS she said I was being rude. She said they get their phone numbers from a business or something. I told her looks like they’re throwing their money away then. She went on saying they have every right to call me. I said I’d report them for it. Then she called me an “old bag” and told me to "get a life”. Proper cheek.

Rang me up yet again just moments after the last call. A different chap this time, but spouting the same old lines. I inquired about the company's name, and he claimed it was an age-old family outfit called "Brighten Up." I let him prattle on while I quickly scoured the web for any trace of that business - but to no avail. Just as he was about to say, "you might be curious about how we manage this..." I interjected, clarifying that I was, in fact, quite skeptical given my inability to find any information on that establishment - and once more, the call was abruptly terminated. Barely a couple of minutes passed before my phone buzzed again, and this time he cheekily asked, "Ever heard of the Internet, you old dear?" before hanging up once more!

Received a call on 7th April 2017, claiming to be from a domestic cleaning firm promoting a special "deep clean" offer. Upon informing the caller that it was an uninvited marketing call, they became quite confrontational, insisting I must have requested the call by filling out some form or another, though they wouldn't clarify which one. When I pressed for the business’s name, the caller flatly refused, stating it was “irrelevant.” At that point, I decided to hang up. I couldn’t help but notice that in the background, another individual seemed to be engaged in a similar telemarketing conversation.
