I had quite a peculiar experience with a chap who insisted he was representing Carphone Warehouse, even though I don’t have any dealings with them for my phone. He was rather pushy, trying to fish for my personal information. I decided to have a bit of sport with him, leading him on a bit, and then he suddenly put me on hold as if there was some bizarre issue with the line. He kept repeating his questions, and in response, I stuck to my line of "I don’t pay for my phone, but it’s still my phone." After a few rounds of that, he abruptly ended the call. It was all rather odd, and I’d advise steering clear of this number.
