Got a bloke on the phone saying he was from some government feed-in tariff scheme since we’ve got solar panels. When I asked for more details, he said his firm was Solum GB. I told him we’re on the TPS list, and he just said they’d checked but maybe we slipped through the cracks. Just so you know, our solar setup is old and only heats water a bit. Proper annoying call, that one.

19/07/18 at 12:17pm. Didn’t know the number so I just let my answerphone pick it up, but no message was left. Looked it up and decided to block it. We’ve got 29 numbers blocked so far. Our system only lets us block up to 30 numbers. When we hit that limit, we just remove the oldest ones to free up space!

He said he worked for some company called Solum Power or something similar and wanted to chat about solar panels and the Renewable Heat Initiative. I told him I wasn’t interested and just hung up. The Telephone Preference Service clearly does nothing since this was a cold call.
