Got a robo call earlier, sounded really pushy and like it was super urgent. They said they were from Amazon, telling me my account got hacked and about 99 quid was stolen or something. I didn’t really catch all of it, but they kept telling me to hit number 1 right away. I just hung up straight away. Definitely didn’t press 1. Later I checked my Amazon account and everything seemed fine. Also took a look at my bank account - no problems there either.

Got a robocall pretending to be from Amazon Prime (Amazon themselves say it’s not legit). Loads of people have been caught out by this scam. It’s pretty dodgy because it tries to make you press 1 so you get put through to someone on their end. I even heard a lot of background noise like a call centre going on. Amazon reckons they never ring their customers like this, so definitely scammers trying to fleece people.
