Caller said they were from Clitheroe but the line was really bad with lots of static. There was a strong accent and they started talking about home insulation, assuming I owned the house. I told them I don’t own the place and they got my details mixed up. Then they asked if I was renting, and I just said I’m not a homeowner. Next, they asked if it was council or private housing - I said it doesn’t matter since I can’t arrange insulation. They just hung up. Proper annoying how many dodgy firms keep doing this. Number’s blocked now.

Sounds like it was an Indian call centre. At first, the voice was clear but then there was loads of static taking over.

Got a call from an American bloke, said he was from some green company or whatever. Asked me to confirm my name and address, then started chatting about my property. Got a call a bit ago from an Asian woman claiming to be from The Green Environmental Centre. Before she even started with her spiel, I asked where she was ringing from - Manchester she said! When I asked her about the main train stations there, she couldn't name any. Pretty sure wherever she's calling from, it’s nowhere near Clitheroe, bit more like 6000 miles off if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be doing a loft insulation survey and they asked for me by name. Total scam, don’t trust it.

This number 01200640084 has rung me two times over the past few days. Since I didn’t know who it was, I just let it ring out to voicemail. As there was no message left, I figured it was probably some sort of scam.

This number, 01200640084, keeps calling me like 2 or 3 times daily. Luckily, my phone automatically puts them on the block list. Seeing what others have said about it, I’m definitely not taking them off the block anytime soon!

Was dealing with some insulation scam, and the woman called Jenny was so disrespectful. She just hung up on me before I could even say all I wanted! Proper annoyed.

They’ve been calling me from a bunch of different numbers, always saying they’re from GREENLINE or something like that. Honestly, I’m pretty sure they know exactly who I am, which is a bit creepy.

Got a call from 01200 640084 today, they asked for me using my full name and said it was about checking if I qualified for free insulation through some government programme. I told them I already have insulation installed and then asked how they’d got hold of my details, but before I could get an answer, they just hung up on me.
