Got a call from 01163183616, some woman saying her name was Alice. Apparently, there’s an arrest warrant out for me because of tax fraud or something like that. Totally didn’t make sense to me!

Got a call from someone saying they're Alice at HMRC, using the number 01163183616. She claimed I owed unpaid taxes from a previous audit and told me there was a lawsuit hanging over me. Then she said to push 1 to sort it out. Mind you, she spoke with an American accent!

Got a call from this number 01163183616, some Alice claiming to be from HMRC. Sounds like another scam to me, felt like I was talking to someone out of a mad hatter story! Still getting these annoying calls.

Seeing what others said, I’m actually relieved I didn’t pick up and just let it go to voicemail - they never even bothered to leave a message.

I ignored a call from an unfamiliar number and let it ring through to voicemail, assuming it was probably a scam. The message was some robotic voice claiming to be from HMRC, saying there was an issue with P60 details and I owed some money. They told me to press 1 or call 01200056321 to talk to a 'tax inspector'. I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from some American woman named Alice on a tape, said something about the tax office and issues with my P60s. The message told me to press 1 or ring a different number. Sounded dodgy to me.

I got a call saying there was a mistake in my P60 and they told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to the inland revenue. They also gave me this number, 01163183616, to ring back. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC telling me I owed back taxes. They told me to press 1 to speak to an officer, but it was totally a scam. The voice was a really bad American robot with weird English, didn’t sound right at all. Avoid it!

Got a call from a woman with a strong American accent saying I’m in some sort of trouble over unpaid taxes. I’m 72 but still sharp as ever and definitely not falling for any ‘press 1 to talk to an official’ nonsense!

I got a voicemail from 01200056321 claiming to be from the tax office, sounded dodgy to me. These nasty scammers are a real threat, especially for older people who might not spot the trick. Watch out, they’re pretty cheeky!

Got a voicemail today from someone claiming to be HMRC - sounded American actually - saying I messed up my taxes. They told me to either hit 1 or ring 01166318316 to sort it out and check my details. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC. She said her name was Alice - like the one from Wonderland! Total scam, watch out!

Got a robo call talking about some mistake with P69 numbers and to hit 1 or ring 01163161686. Total scam, especially since I'm self-employed and don't even get a P60. Plus, I've got an accountant who sorts my taxes. They really need to run warnings on the telly during peak hours to warn folks about these scams and remind everyone HMRC wouldn’t reach out like that.

Total scam with these fake tax calls. The cops should be on top of it but seems like they’re doing nothing about it. Proper criminals!

Got a call from some supposed "Tax Office" with a robotic voice claiming I had a tax refund. Thing is, I don’t even pay tax! They told me to press 1 to claim it. Pretty sure it was an 09 number in disguise. Total scam.

These tax folks are totally dodgy - and you can tell they're not local because they just keep going, even when I told them my name was Myra Hindley, no reaction at all.
