Got a missed call from these guys today, 11th April 2014. Looks like they’re busy this month, judging by what others have said here. No voicemail was left, and I didn’t pick up since I only answer known numbers. Someone else mentioned a call about computer hacking from this number, which I’ve had a while back too. Used to get calls on my landline loads, usually some bloke with an Indian accent. I’d just tell them I don’t own a computer, so how could it be hacked? Funny really!

Weirdly enough, this number has rung me on my work phone and personal mobile a couple of times on separate days, but what’s really odd is that on both occasions, the calls to both devices happened within the same hour. I've never once given this number to the same company on both phones, so even if they got hold of my details from different hacked databases, how on earth did they manage to ring both numbers so close together time-wise? Bit suspicious if you ask me. Whatever it is, it was clearly a spam call, so I just ignored it straight away.

I've been receiving calls roughly every couple of days. Initially, I assumed the caller was from Johannesburg, considering the local dialling code is 011 and 957 is linked to Sandton. However, I've come to suspect it might actually be from Pakistan.

I've received several calls from this number, but I decided against picking up after doing some digging online and discovering it could be a scam. If you're on Android, I highly recommend trying out AVG AntiVirus Free for your mobile device; it even has a feature that allows you to block unwanted numbers. It does the trick quite effectively! Alternatively, there are plenty of other call-blocking apps out there that might suit your needs just as well.

Got a call around 11:45am today (3rd Nov 2014), but I didn't answer and there was no message left. No idea what the caller wanted. Loads of folks here seem pretty annoyed though, looks like it might be one of those PPI scam calls. I use an Xperia, and I simply save the number under a rude name, then set it to go straight to voicemail - basically blocks ’em. Just thought I’d share! :)

Got a call from this number earlier today, around 11:50 in the morning. I didn’t pick up, thank goodness, because I was waiting for some really important calls. It’s so frustrating that these companies keep pestering people like this and nothing happens to them. I might have answered it, assuming it was someone important, and then ended up stuck dealing with annoying scammers or junk callers. I've been inundated with calls from this particular number nearly daily, often during my work meetings. It's quite the nuisance, I must say. On one occasion, I mistakenly answered, thinking it might be a work-related call, but they promptly hung up. And to add to the frustration, they're persistent in trying again later! It’s not your phone itself, these call bots just cycle through thousands of numbers and if no one picks up, they leave a ‘call back’ number. For like 12 years, this was actually against the rules. If you’re reading this, contact OFCOM and make sure to get a reply from them - they have to respond.
