Some woman rang me claiming she was from my internet company. I asked her who my provider was and she goes “Virgin Media?” - I mean, wouldn’t she already know that? This has happened twice now and they always call in the early morning. I guess they reckon you’re not fully awake then and more likely to fall for it.

Some woman rang me up saying she was from BT and that my phone line was at risk and might get cut off. She told me my internet IP address had been hacked and they needed to fix it to keep things safe. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
