Got a call supposedly from Amazon about renewing my Prime subscription. Earlier today, someone ringing from 0118 983 5466 called me, introduced himself as Ryan and had a strong Indian accent. I said I’d prefer to pay with another card. Right after, I checked my Amazon account and saw my Prime had just been renewed not long ago. Told the bloke off and blocked both numbers. Could hear other voices with a similar accent chatting away in the background too.
