got a call from a guy with an indian accent saying he was from bt, said there was an issue with our internet. honestly, we’re fine here, no problems at all except these scammers. i said nicely i didn’t trust him and then he just ended the call.

again with talktalk! even though i've blocked the number, a week later they ring from a completely different one. i’ve got this super loud whistle saved on one of my internet apps, so when these scam calls come through, i just ask them nicely to hold on for a moment. then i press the whistle and put the phone on speaker at full volume. pro tip: get the dogs out the room before hitting that whistle, it’s ear-piercing! i have zero mercy for these horrible scam callers - honestly, you can almost smell the dodginess over the phone! after that, they never bother me again.

Got a call from some woman, sounded like she was Ram Jam Chappati’s missus or summat. She had a really strong accent and said she was ringing from BT. I gently told her maybe she should work on her English a bit before ringing me back - which knowing her, she probably will.

received another call from someone saying they were from "bt openreach" - total scam, as usual. honestly, don’t follow any of their instructions, it’s way too risky. stay safe, lads!

Got one of those scam calls again, this time claiming to be from BT and saying there was an issue with my internet. Such annoying nonsense, these calls really are a hassle.

For about a month now, this number keeps ringing me but when I pick up, there’s no one there. I’m with TalkTalk and managed to block the call, but I wonder how soon the next scam call will come through. It’s so annoying!

We keep getting these calls around the same times as before, like early mornings between 6.15 and 9.00 when we’re still in bed. It’s quite out of the ordinary to get calls that early, so naturally, we worry it might be a family member calling with some bad news. It’s really distressing every time.
