I received a call from Chancellors Estate Agents, quite unexpectedly, claiming that one of their listings was available for rent. However, this property has never been up for rental, and I have zero affiliation with Chancellors whatsoever. They really ought not to have my number. It seems like they’re resorting to underhanded tactics, cold-calling people in an attempt to skirt around the law. I’m definitely planning to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner about this.

I received a rather unexpected call from Chancellors at my workplace, inquiring if I had any intention of selling my property! They left a voicemail, and when I called them back this morning to clarify how they obtained my number, they suggested I must have signed up for something. This is baffling, as I’ve resided in my current home for nearly two decades and have never registered with them. When I requested to be taken off their contact list, the response I got was far from courteous. I've since blocked their number and want absolutely no association with a company that chooses to disturb professionals at 10 a.m. Clearly, it’s not the wisest decision for their reputation.
