Our Accounts inbox just got an email demanding immediate payment on some invoice we supposedly owe. Funny thing is, there was no company name mentioned anywhere, only an address and phone number that didn’t seem right, plus the email itself looked pretty suspicious.

I decided to check the phone number and came across these scam reports, so figured I'd add my experience to the list too.

Got an email mentioning an unpaid invoice, but it looked fishy. The number was there but no company name to back it up. The address they gave was just a home, nothing like a warehouse or delivery place. We've never dealt with any business like that, and there wasn’t even a copy of the invoice attached. Felt pretty dodgy to me.
