Not long after noticing several missed calls from this number, we eventually managed to have a chat with them. Turns out it's SWALEC on the line, trying to pitch a boiler maintenance deal. It’s probably just a marketing agency doing the rounds for different energy providers.

We answered the call, and a youthful chap named James was on the line. The call was from Southern Electric, the company that provides our electricity and gas. He wanted to know if we were keen on getting some sort of insurance for our boiler. We let him know that we don’t actually own the property, so we couldn’t just agree to anything on the spot. They assured us that they’d stop calling, so here’s hoping that’s the last we hear from them!

How peculiar! We reached out to Scottish Power, and the response we got was rather baffling. To whom it may concern, I appreciate your prompt email. After investigating the issue, it appears this phone number is not affiliated with Scottish Power. It seems to belong to a different company, and as far as we know, there’s no association with Scottish Power whatsoever. Best wishes. Your Customer Service Team

I've received a couple of calls from this number, but missed them all. When I try to return the call, I'm greeted with a message saying it's someone named Mia calling on behalf of a client and asking me to relay my number. It also mentions that if there's no need for a callback, I should just provide my name and number instead. Quite strange indeed!

That's Southern Electric! We just got off the phone with them on our mobile a mere moment ago!

This number keeps calling our phone on a daily basis, only to hang up the moment we answer. It’s quite puzzling! What on earth is going on? 🤔

I received a call from Southern Electric, my energy provider. They were probing to see if I had a BT line. Once I clarified that I was with Virgin, the caller simply said, "Ah, right. Cheers then," and promptly ended the call! Quite abrupt, wouldn’t you say?

Every month without fail, this number buzzes our mobile at least a couple of times. We've got no idea who it is. When we tried calling back, a message came through claiming we’d been contacted by Mia.

I received a call from this number and answered it on the very first ring, only to be met with silence as they hung up! Quite the cheeky move, if you ask me. We'll be reaching out to our energy provider to ensure our details are removed from their directory. What a nuisance!

Received a call from this number, but as soon as we answered, they hung up. When we tried to call back, it went straight to a voicemail for someone named "Mya." The message mentioned that if you share your phone number, they'll remove it from their mailing list. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I've noticed that this number has been ringing me twice a day, yet more often than not, I miss the calls. Strangely, they never seem to leave a voicemail. It's worth mentioning that I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so I can't fathom how they even got my details to begin with.

Even though we left a message recently asking them not to contact us again, this company has continued to call. It's incredibly frustrating and irritating to keep receiving these calls. We reckon it might be time for the watchdog to look into this situation!

I've just had a call from a company called TML, who were trying to sell me a phone package that they claim is more affordable than BT. They're offering it for £9.99 a week.

We answered the phone and a young chap named James had a chat with us. He mentioned he was calling on behalf of Southern Electric, our suppliers for both gas and electricity. He wanted to know if we were keen on signing up for some sort of insurance for our boiler. We explained that, as we're renting, we weren't in a position to make such decisions on the spot. He assured us that they would cease their calls. Let's hope that’s the last we hear from them!

This number seems to be from Aborfield, not far from Reading. Like many others, we ended up missing their calls, and when we returned the call, we were greeted with the same old message. What a load of nonsense!

I recently encountered Scottish Power Marketing and decided to give them a ring. I was pleasantly surprised to find that by returning the call, I could easily request the removal of my number from their records through their automated service. Quite a convenient process, I must say! Very impressed with how straightforward it was.

I've received three calls from this number, but I keep missing them. Every time I try to return the call, I get a message saying it's MIA reaching out for a client and asking to leave my number. Does anyone know who this might be?

It seems this company was engaged by Scottish Power. I’d recommend reaching out to Scottish Power directly. Ask them to liaise with this firm on your behalf and ensure that your details are removed from their records.
