Somebody called saying they were from Sky, saying there’s weird activity on my internet. They wanted me to install a screen-sharing app to sort it out, but I didn’t fall for it and didn’t download anything.

My elderly mum got a call from this number today, even though she usually hangs up on stuff like this. The caller said something about a £79 charge and told her to press 1 if she didn’t want to pay. Sounds like a total scam to me.
