Got a call earlier, definite scammers trying to fish out my personal details. Best to stick to the basics: don't hand over any info or agree to anything, even if they sound legit. Loads of cold callers are just con artists, and some are really slick at it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one wasn’t even calling from Reading - they can fake local numbers or use bogus UK lines to make calls from all over the place without being tracked.

They called, actually asked for me by my name, but then just ended the call straight away. I've put myself on the TPS list and blocked the number now.
