Got called like seven times all within an hour and not once did they leave a voicemail explaining what it was about. Proper annoying.

Just received a call, but the connection was pretty poor. The chap on the other end had quite a thick accent and said he was representing what sounded like MBNA. He started rambling on about a verge by the roadside, which is nothing we'd have any involvement in. I mentioned I believed he must have dialled the wrong number, and he promptly moved on.

They started chatting about some issue regarding a verge on the road, which seemed totally irrelevant to us. I figured it was a mistake, and as soon as I said I believed they had dialled the wrong number, they promptly hung up. Quite the bizarre encounter, if you ask me!
