Rang my mum twice within a mere ten minutes while I was visiting her. Claimed to be from BT, discussing issues with her internet connection. The funny thing is, she doesn’t even have internet!

Received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from BT, insisting that our internet connection had been hacked and was being misused by unauthorised individuals. I asked them to get in touch through my BT account email, and instead of that, they just kept yammering on about their so-called problem. Quite rightly, I started to feel dubious and hung up. To my surprise, they rang me back in a huff, demanding to know why I’d ended the conversation! What a bunch of vile charlatans!
