They soon called back while I was having a conversation with her, this time inquiring about her phone line. They purported to be from a company called Imperial Telecom. Just a couple of minutes later, another bloke rang, insisting he wasn’t trying to sell anything, and introduced himself as Mark. This experience has really unsettled my mother, who is nearly 80 and certainly doesn't need such disturbances in her life.
