Just had a call from someone pretending to be from my internet provider saying my internet would get cut off unless I ring them back to update my IP address. Sounds like another one of those scams trying to sneak into your computer. Definitely dodgy!

Got a message from some automated voice called ‘Shirley’ saying my internet’s about to be cut off. They’re always switching up their phone numbers, it’s quite annoying.

My mate got scammed by 0118 9411268. They said they were from BT and that they needed to swap out his router. Then they somehow got into his computer and tried to trick him into giving his bank info to sort out a refund. I phoned the number back but no one picked up.

Just had a dodgy call, definitely a scam! Never let them near your computer, trust me.

Oh, it's that electronic Shirley poppin' up again, talkin' about "internet access". This time she’s ringin' from somewhere around Reading. She’s pretty persistent if ya ask me. Best to just brush it off - another one of those dodgy scams.
