I got a call supposedly from BT, saying my internet was being used by others and they needed me to sit at my computer so they could help stop it. When I asked a few questions, the caller started getting really rude and threatened to cut off my internet if I didn’t follow their instructions. Then they told me I could just hang up if I wasn’t happy with their “help,” so that’s exactly what I did. Definitely a scam in my opinion.
