I don’t really know who it was but when I rang back there was just this awful dial-up noise, so I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of scam.

I didn't pick up because 1) I was behind the wheel and 2) the area code wasn’t familiar to me. They left a message on my voicemail saying I supposedly won a holiday competition from Facebook - a 2 night/3 day break at a 4-star hotel somewhere in England, Scotland or Wales. They mentioned I’d need to cover the breakfast cost upfront. I just listened to the voicemail and the company called themselves Holiday Retailers. They included a callback number: 0800 070 5220 for more details.
