Got a call from some spammer asking if I’d been in a car crash or something. Pretty weird question outta the blue.

Received an odd inquiry about whether I’d been involved in a car crash lately. Clearly a dodgy attempt at scamming-goodbye, blocked!

When I answered a call from this number, there was just silence on the other end, no greeting or anything.

Got a call from 0118 435 2800, which is around Reading, from a young woman who didn’t sound very polished. She said her name was Megan, claiming to be from R K Legal, talking about some kind of payout for an accident I was apparently in. Thing is, I did get knocked by a car walking about three months ago, but I haven’t made any claims or anything. I was a bit wary of the call, so I asked her what sort of compensation she meant, and she just ended the call straight away. Had a look online and saw that R K Legal comes up often linked to scams - best steer well clear of them!
