I've been getting nonstop calls from this number, so I’ve reported it to both the fraud department and Ofcom because I’m getting loads of these annoying calls all doing the same thing. Just yesterday, this one called me three times, plus five other numbers hit me up more than once, all with the same behaviour. Hopefully, by passing on all the info to fraud and Ofcom, they’ll be able to sort it out. Ofcom told me to jot down the times and dates they call, then call back so they can try to trace where these calls are coming from. Might be worth a try for others dealing with this rubbish too.

Yesterday my mum got a call from these lot, and when she nicely said she wasn’t interested, the bloke just told her to f@&k off and called her a horrible name. Honestly, what rude and awful behaviour. They really need to be stopped because they're nothing but pests and very abusive.

Whenever one of these annoying calls comes through, I like to answer as though I'm some bloke called George Agdgdgwngo, like from that Fonejacker show. It really throws them off! They usually sound either puzzled, annoyed, or just plain weirded out - especially if you just keep going like they’re not even there interrupting you. More often than not, that particular phantom number stops ringing me up again after that. "Hi, this is George here... I’m ringing about your bank account."

My mum, who’s 93 and lives in a retirement flat, gets these annoying calls from these idiots quite often every week. Whenever she answers with a simple hello, they either just hang up on her or start shouting abuse. Being rude seems pointless because they don’t seem bothered by it. No manners or anything. Why isn’t there a way to stop all these calls from not just this lot, but others too? Today, I received a rather unsolicited call from a firm identifying themselves as Energy Saving Systems (ESS), trying to peddle solar panels. When I pointed out that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, he brazenly remarked that since their service was complimentary, it wasn't anything special and they disregarded such registrations. After a bit of back-and-forth about the matter, he even provided me with a contact number to lodge a formal complaint. Naturally, I decided to look it up, only to find out it was a number for Childline! What a farce!

This number keeps ringing me, and since I'm deaf, I have to use the speakerphone. They somehow know my name but as soon as I try to reply, they just hang up. Honestly, BT should introduce a proper, permanent solution to block these calls without charging loyal customers like me. I’ve been with BT since 1988 and it’s frustrating that to stop these annoying calls, I’m expected to buy a special BT phone or pay yearly for some service. Why can’t they just include call blocking in the current packages for long-time customers instead of making us fork out extra money or change devices? It feels a bit unfair, especially since such calls are so persistent.

Green Plan kept ringing me up loads, even on Good Friday and Easter Sunday which I thought was really cheeky. I told them I was on the TPS list so they shouldn’t be calling me, but they reckoned it was alright because they were promoting a government-supported scheme. I said I was going to report them, and asked for their head office address to see if they were legit. They wouldn’t give it, obviously. Still, I’ve gone ahead and reported them.

This afternoon around 2.54pm a bloke rang me, but honestly I couldn’t catch what he was saying. I told him I’m really fed up with getting cold calls non stop and told him to take me off his contact list and quit ringing me. He agreed. I’m on the Do Not Call list and not listed in the phone directory, so no idea how they got hold of my number. It should be illegal for them to keep calling.
