I received a call that claimed to be linked to the parking charge service of Reading Borough Council. When I called back, a lady picked up and promised to look into it. She then placed me on hold with some rather unconventional background music, quite different from the usual tunes of RBC. After waiting for two and a half minutes with nothing but that odd music, I decided to hang up and reach out to you to share this experience. Much appreciated!

+441184032998 - I’ve blocked this number on my mobile. Didn’t pick up, then it started ringing my landline straight away. Pretty sure it’s one of those annoying sales calls about gas, electric, or maybe some foreign money scheme. The call seems to come from Reading.

Got a call from a man saying he was from some company offering better electricity rates. I quickly told him I wasn’t keen and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away.

I received a call from a chap named Peter Osbourne who claimed to be with some energy firm. He was looking to chat with our accounts manager regarding our electricity contract. However, as soon as I probed a bit for details, he abruptly ended the call! Very peculiar behaviour, if you ask me.
