Got a call earlier from a person offering £1,500 to help with home insulation costs. They wanted to quiz me with loads of questions. When I asked for their website, they refused to provide it, only telling me the company was called Better Homes. I looked up the phone number and it’s actually linked to Magrathea Ltd in Reading, which doesn’t have anything to do with energy services! Sounds pretty dodgy to me. I told them I wasn’t giving any personal info and ended the call - it all felt very fishy. I’ve blocked the number now just in case.
